We attended our first night-time Mardi Gras parade in downtown Mobile this year. We met three other families there and enjoyed the cool weather, the excitement of the colorful floats and the amazing "throws". 
As always we took home way more beads than we'll ever need but for some reason the kids never seem to get tired of it! This group we went to see was called the Order of the Polka Dots. They are an all female group and the theme of their floats this year was "Birds of Paradise".
