Queen of the jungle...

This week Jessica was picked to be "Queen of the Jungle" in her 3rd grade class! This meant that she could pick two "loyal" subjects from the class that would help her throughout the week with her "duties" as Queen, she could bring in a guest speaker, and do a special Show & Tell segment on the last day of her "reign" as Queen! For her guest speaker Jessica asked me to teach the class about South Korea. And for her Show & Tell item she brought in a conch shell, a kukui nut lei, and a lauhala basket from Hawaii to show her friends! What a great way to end her reign in the jungle!
